AREA CRIOTHERAPY – is the use of cold for therapeutic purposes, where heat is removed from the body, resulting in tissue temperature lowering. Cryotherapy for analgesic, anti-inflammatory, anti-hemorrhagic effects, reduces bleeding and prevents or reduces the formation of post-traumatic hematomas. The treatment time is between 30 seconds and 3 minutes, depending on the size of the cooled surface. Used in the treatment of post-traumatic edema, inflammatory conditions, fresh muscle injuries, ligaments, osteoarthritis, neuralgia, pain syndromes.

- degenerative joint changes
